Beachy Little Christmas Tree

For this card I decided on subtle tone.  Using a brayer I coloured the background with Marina Mist and Crumb Cake inks.  Also I stamped the tree, Shells and sentiment in Crumb Cake.

Colourful Seasons Just Breathe

For todays card I stamped the deckchair base from the Colourful Seasons stamp set on a piece of the Colour Theory Designer papers.  Using a piece of Whisper White card stock I stamped the canvas seats in Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz and Crushed Curry, then cut them out and glued them onto the chair bases.

The card base is A4 Whisper White cut in two and folded to create a top folding card.  I glued the stamped DSP to a piece of Dapper Denim then glued to card base. For a feature I added a dashed line to the top two corners with a white gel pen.

Painted Harvest – Get Well Soon

Another favourite of mine is the Painted Harvest stamp set from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue.  This is a two step stamp set meaning each there are two stamps to use to give the best result for a water coloured effect.  There is the flower, two different leaves, an acorn and three beautiful and meaningful sentiments.

For my Get Well Soon card I used A4 Whisper White card stock cut in half and folded to create a top folding card.  On another piece of Whisper White 1/4″ smaller than the front of card I stamped the flowers first with Crushed Curry ink and then Crumb Cake ink to add dimension.  The centres of the flower I used Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.

The next step was done with my Brother ScanNCut, I used the text to spell out Get Well Soon and ran my stamped card stock through the machine to cut out the letters.  Stampin Up has Large Letters Framelits Dies, however I do not have them hence why I used the ScanNCut.  I then glued the stamped piece to the card base and reattached the letters using Foam Adhesive Strips.  This was an easy card to make but looks fabulous with the raised letters.

Beachy Little Christmas

This is one of my favourite stamp sets Beachy Little Christmas from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue.

Using a piece of A4 Whisper White, cut in half and folded to create a top folding card, I stamped the images with Versa Fine black ink and coloured them with Copic markers. You can use any medium of choice to colour the images.  The presents are from the Weathered Together stamp set and Santa is from Santa’s Suit stamp set.I recently purchased a Brother ScanNCut CM900 and I was eager to use the machine to cut out the images, great results.  I was lucky to pick it up second hand, it’s in excellent condition, the lady told me she only used it a couple of times and bought it at a craft fair, an impulse buy.

For the background I used a brayer with Mermaid Mist, Soft Sky and Crumb Cake inks to create sky, sea and sand on Whisper White card stock. To add texture to the sand I used the dotted stamp from Timeless Textures.  The clouds were created using one of the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and the Embossing Paste with a little Smokey Slate ink blended with the paste.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment on a piece of Real Red card stock and the smallest scalloped circle die to cut it out.

Paisleys and Posies

I just love this card, so bright and colourful, it was fun creating this card.  I cased the image in the Annual Catalogue 2017-2018 but changed it with how I preferred it to look.

Using the Paisley Framelits and a piece of Whisper White card stock I cut out four different shapes and using dimensionals I attached coloured cardstock to the back to cover up the voids from the cut-outs.  I then added other cut-out shapes to the front of the front.  To finish the card I attached the front panel to the card base with liquid glue.

Tranquil Tulips with Picket Fence

Hello Stampers

Todays card is made with the beautiful Tranquil Tulips, I just love these flowers.  I added a cute picket fence using the chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  The tulips are stamped with Berry Burst and the stems and leaves with Lemon, Lime Twist inks, and are on a card panel I embossed with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.

Card Base A4 Whisper White cut in half lengthways scored and folded to make a top folding card.  Front panel is Whisper White cut to the same size as the front of the card base.

Vintage Daisy Delight

Hello Stampers

Hope you love my take on today’s card.  I just love the colour combination, I tried to keep to a minimum of a few colours.  The torn and sponged edges give the card a 3D look.

I chose Fresh Fig for the front card panel and Very Vanilla for the card base.  I started by punching out the daisies with the Daisy Punch and sponging the petals with Daffodil Delight and Fresh Fig inks.  Next I stamped the card base in Fresh Fig using different stamps from Timeless Textures.  Then I tore a small amount from all sides of the Fresh Fig front card panel and sponged the edges with Fresh Fig ink.  As I dropped the Fresh Fig ink pad on the front card panel I decided to mask the mistake by stamping using Fresh Fig ink and a few of the Timeless Textures stamps.  The daisies and sentiment I attached with dimensionals.

See my youtube HERE for step by step guide to making this Vintage Card.
